Classes

Computer Class
Motivated Moms’ students can attend computer class where they first learn to type and use the keyboard. Students also learn programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer programs. This class helps students improve English skills while learning the computer.

Computer Assisted Learning
Students can increase vocabulary, learn phrases, and practice dialogues and conversations for real-life situations. The program’s automatic speech recognition evaluates the student’s pronunciation and compares it to native English speakers.

Citizenship Class
Upon request, Motivated Moms helps students prepare for the INS interview to become U.S. citizens. As the students learn U.S. history and government and the responsibilities of citizenship, the student will also improve his or her speaking and writing skills in English.

Parenting Class
This class helps mothers understand the value God places on parents and children, how to build self-esteem, how to develop self-control in children, how to talk to your child, and the skills needed for school.
